  I guess he is a PWO . At least that’s what’s being said over on Ute zone. He does look like a good one though! Who rates kicker a a five star? Ever? I’ve seen a couple 4 star s . BYU kid was a four star a while back. Can’t remember his name. Kid from Bingham… … Southam?

      Our kickers are usually PWO’s – even the high rated ones like Johnston was. Whitt brings them all in and the best get a scholarship after spring ball.
      
      Phillips, Sakoda, Gay – all were PWO for spring ball

      Same reason Tim Drisdom became the scapegoat for all the Runnin Utes’ woes: Someone once suggested it, and it became a quick and convenient way to bag on the team, even though it wasn’t true.

      I realize this is special teams, but the kicking game is a big part of that and probably the reason for the low rating for the Utes.

  There is no such thing as a 5-star Kicker. Never has been. At best, they grade out with 3.
