9/11 is just around the corner. can someone out there post several scenarios why TDS will not beat Utah.
give me some reassurance please.
Their o line will be poo. Their d line will be poo. And most importantly: they so poo poo.

My response…
Since 2009, much worse Utah teams have played much better byu teams AND STILL WON. There you go.

To give you the breakdown you’re requesting, I’d have to be able to name more than three players on the current BYU roster. I simply can’t do that.
Their starting QB will likely be one of two guys; a dude with little experience who started and lost to a really bad USF team in 2019, or a true freshman who looks like he should still be in middle school. Granted, the freshman was a 4* recruit, but he also just got off a mission. That doesn’t help him. They have a couple RBs who played good vs their HS schedule last year, but they aren’t particularly dangerous at any one facet of the game. Their WRs and TE are okay and have size, but shouldn’t have the speed to beat our DBs or LBs. Their OL has question marks.
Their defense has some okay LBs, but big question marks at DB. Brewer and company should feast. Their DL shouldn’t be able to stop our running attack that features a mix home run hitters and power.

Because the Max Hall curse is still in place.
Go watch Jaren Hall in their game against USF in 2019 and imagine him going against our D-line. That’s all the reassurance you’ll need.
Depth is the best it’s been . I am expecting a really good run this year , just based on that alone.
