4* transfer, which is great, but the most important part is that he is Mongolian, which makes him awesome. Nothing would make me care about college basketball more than to have him on our team.

No thanks. Cam has been great, but I’m ready for new leadership on this team. Also, if another post I saw is correct, he won’t be eligible for the extra year.

He’ll no. I’d rather hire bronco mendenhall.

Dude looks like a good pickup. He shot well enough from three last year (very small sample though, so likely only shoots when wide open). Good size. If we were staying in the PAC we would be a possible tourney team for sure. Not sure how we’ll do in the big 12 though.

I went there about a month ago. Good stuff. Cheap, fast, tastes good. My Peruvian buddy recommended it.

If you are ever in the Nova area, and in the mood for chicken you should try Hot Lola’s. You also can’t go wrong with Bonchon or some similar Korean place. Bonchon also has killer fries, onion rings, and dipping sauce. Also, Bonchon is an international chain, so you may be able to find it other places as well.

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic Transfer Portal: question about Chaz Ah You in the forum Football 1 year, 2 months ago
His career has been plagued by injuries. He was supposedly going to medically reitre then entered the portal instead. He was overrated in high school and very arrogant. Don’t know what kind of person he is now, but I doubt he’d be much help even if his attitude has changed.
He’s the guy who did the helicopter landing in LES thing to announce his…[Read more]

I agree. If we weren’t about to join the Big12 I’d actually be pretty happy with what Smith has done this offseason. Not perfect, but pretty good.

With the addition of Caleb Lohner to the football team, Kyle Whittingham is now our best basketball and football recruiter. 🙁

I saw a concept for Utah Prospectors that was pretty cool. I don’t love the name because it is kind of a mouthful, but at least it isn’t some tacky animal mascott.

The NHL has a ton of classic jerseys. Blackhawks, Redwings, Oilers, Rangers, Bruins, Canadiens, Pittsburgh, Philedelphia, NJ, St Louis, Buffalo… All of those teams have instantly recognizable, Iconic Jerseys that look great. We need a simple logo with a simple color scheme that looks classic.
Think of all the best logos in sports. Few if any…[Read more]

They are all quite tacky IMO. Best one is the trout. Most of them give off monster energy bro vibes (that is a bad thing). We should go for a more classic look IMO.

The MBB program was already a sinking ship. Who cares if people are jumping off to board other ships that aren’t sinking? With or without Burgess, this program was going down. The only decent player Smith has recruited is the brother of a current player! He has to have siblings already on the team to convince mediocre players to come player here.

Burgess leaving is a nothingburger. We weren’t going anywhere whether he was on our staff or not. He made the right choice, good for him. This doesn’t change anything regarding his future at Utah.

Baseball has been better under Harlan. He hired that coach. Also, he hired Farden’s replacement, who did very well. You are way off base IMO.

sounds like an awfully strong take against a guy that, from everything I’ve seen, seems to genuinely care about his players and seems like an overall good person.
Saying he’s accomplished nothing is far from the truth. Is he a great football coach? I don’t know, but he has accomplished more than most people do in their lives. He seems like a good…[Read more]

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic Buk m Buk and immigration law thoughts in the forum Misc 1 year, 2 months ago
Its not that simple. Like pretty much everything else in this country, as you suggest, much of this is indeed motivated by greed. It is absolutely true that a percentage (I don’t know what percentage) of illegal immigrants are brought over by companies that don’t want to pay workers an honest wage. That is a bad thing. There is also a class of…[Read more]
