Hold on, MDUte, let’s win a few games first! I grew up watching the SWC and continued following the B12 as my grad degree is from UTD and I can tell you that the B12 will truly test the Utes’ defense as it’s typically an offensive-based conference – with the joke being for most games “first team to 100 wins!”.

Live outside of Zion so watched it from the comfort of home. Crowd looked a little sparse, but guess better crowds will return with an improving team. Looking forward to B12 next year only b/c a few of the games will be a reasonable drive depending on how they choose to schedule games – has anyone heard about BB ’24-’25 yet?

If I was a tinfoil hat guy, based on the number of missed Washington penalties, including the DPI at the end of the game, I’d say the Committee desperately wanted a #1 versus #2 final to justify their final four and to quiet the FSU noise, even though UGA already did that favor for them…Go Utes!

JJ was a trooper and will be missed but if correct that SMU is his destination, he’s heading to his hometown team with a small but so well-heeled alumni base that they were able to join the ACC and forgo TV money for nine years! Wish him all the best and as always, Go Utes!

Hope you’re on the mend, Tony! My wife and I had the Covid last Thanksgiving, my symptoms were minor, while hers landed her in the hospital for 3 days – so take care!

Always liked the Sun Bowl. Cool stadium and not far from NM/White Sands National Park.

unfortunately have to agree. While calls for both teams were weak, it did look like P12 trying to protect their last undefeated team. Having said that, the team played hard and given the injuries this has been one of the most enjoyable seasons as you know the players are balling out each week for each other and the “2s” and “3s” are getting a ton…[Read more]
