Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Agasiva sign with Jacksonville?

Central Coast Ute replied to the topic Utah / USC Game Tickets in the forum Football 5 years, 11 months ago
I went two years ago and there was a good crowd. I got my tickets on Ticketmaster. I have seen USC tickets on groupon when they’re not doing well and they’re just trying to sell tickets. If SC is undefeated heading into the game, you can possibly expect a crowd. If not, you might be able to score some cheap tickets close to game day.

Personally I don’t think they’ll be joining the AAC. TDS will be their usual selves and demand more than they should. By losing Ucon, the AAC now has to split the money pie 11 ways instead of 12, and Ucon wasn’t making them money anyway, so they’ll all collect bigger paychecks without Ucon and the TDS.
Edit: I have no information to back that up.…[Read more]

The article says he’s a 3 star for now.

He was asking without turnovers, how does BYU win? If both teams play a clean game, how can BYU win that game. I have to agree with him, there is no way. Both teams come in healthy, no pac 12 championship game the next week. Utah will be focused squarely on BYU. Even a few years ago with 7 turn overs, Utah still won.

Which is exactly why he played less last year. Grimes requires TE’s to block, which Bushman isn’t great at.

I’m not sure that Bushman is big enough to be a Pac 12 TE. Tonga could possibly start ahead of Penisini but even that is debatable. I wouldn’t trade any O lineman for anything on TDS .

Conversely, the Ute coaches also know their coaches very well too. I get your points though and they’re all valid.

Not throwing shade at Whitt at all. If you dont think promises are made, especially to QB’s, I have ocean front property to sell you in West Valley City.
If you don’t think one of the 4 star QBs at ASU won’t transfer, just wait. It will happen.
If Utah is a hard sell culturally? Why is approx. 1/3 of the Utah football team black? Why is it…[Read more]

Honestly I think ASU makes promises to kids that they can’t keep, like guaranteeing them the starting spot. I don’t think Whitt operates that way either. I think all Utah coaches can do is promise them a fair opportunity to compete for a starting spot.

For a school like Utah, grabbing a four star QB every year just isn’t realistic. Every other year should be expected though. You had Huntley, 4 star per ESPN. Then Shelley, 3 star all around and a solid back up QB. The Tuttle who left but was replaced by Rising. This year, a four star kid would be nice, but a solid 3 star isn’t bad.

Ok Pace, those of us that have been around for a while understand the context of your post. If the Utes are after him, there must be a reason. No need to put the kid down.

Central Coast Ute replied to the topic Interesting Read On USC's Developing 4 and 5 Star Players in the forum Football 5 years, 12 months ago
Not necessarily, Leki Fotu was a 2 star that USC came hard at. For the most part the star system works. Obviously, that’s not always the case, but there are more 5 star kids in the NFL per capita than 4 stars. Same goes with 4 star and 3 star and so on.

That would be nice but I don’t think any gm in their right mind would touch that contract.

I know he’s not the greatest player, I get it. I just like him as a person. It’s a good trade. I just like the guy.
