No, I’m asking exactly what I asked. I’m asking if losing players/recruits you like would be worth the tradeoff for getting a different coach.

P.S. I’m not fishing for any particular answer. I’m honestly not sure how I would answer my own question.

Honest question for those who want to fire Larry this season: If you could fire him and get a new coach, but that move also meant losing more players via transfer (like Rylan, for example) and losing some of the players from this latest recruiting class (like Ian Martinez), would you do it? Would you be in favor of that tradeoff?

Honestly, why is any football player doing the bench press? Pushing with the arms is not a super important motion in football. Even linemen – who push a lot – are pushing with their legs, glutes, and cores.

I suspect that the bench press is pretty much just there to be a “show of manliness” and has little to do with strength that translates to football.

My grandparents were Hawaiian and lived there their entire lives. They (correctly) noted that many mainlanders who moved there moved back to the mainland within 3 years. I guess when you live there, it gets old really quick.

No, I have no concerns at all. He’s the kind of player where the only thing keeping him from reaching another level is mileage. The staff knows what kind of minutes he can handle. Think about all the experience he’s getting. He’s been good this year but he’s going to be great next year and incredible the year after.

Actually Tony is right. We’re not a good outside shooting team. I think Martinez solves that next year.

Unfortunately, our half court offense leads to a lot of outside shots as well. I wish we could get the ball inside more from the half court offense.
