I’m not defending Larry at all because he’s lost far too many players, but this one is not on him. 

College football is just as dirty, if not more so. SEC players getting paid, off-field crime, CTE, PEDs, and on and on. 
Not saying you have to like college basketball, but “it’s dirty” is not a good reason…if you still like college football. 

My assessment of the regular season: I was entertained. Every down of Utah football was worth the entertainment dollars spent. Great year! 

If that kid were a Ute, he wouldn’t have left the bench tonight. He’d be Shelley’s backup. And the play on the field bore that out. The better QB was wearing red last night. 

Because this game doesn’t matter. To the players, to the coaches, to the fans.

Of course you’ll be there. You’re just using this post as a way of saying that tonight’s game is meaningless. But this level of hyperbole is a bit much. 

Honestly, with the exception of the N. Illinois game, I haven’t been less excited for a football game all year. The rivalry is dead. 
That said, go utes!
