Who knows? Maybe Daniels seemed like he was becoming more cooperative, then backslid during/after those two games. You don’t know, I don’t know, so it seems kinda silly to get so upset over a coach letting a guy go like this. Players like Daniels don’t come a dime a dozen, and I can’t imagine Coach K cutting ties without serious provocation. We…[Read more]

AZswayze replied to the topic Chase Jeter transferring from Duke, considering Utah in the forum Basketball (Men) 8 years, 1 month ago
UCLA might have something to say about that. Duke may be outperforming them in recent years, but UCLA had twice as many National Championships in the ’60s/’70s alone than Duke has in their entire history. Plus, they’re no slouch in the academics department.

If he didn’t want him back doesn’t that kinda prove that Daniels’ antics were more trouble than they were worth? I was initially upset when I heard he was leaving, but coaches don’t typically let highly skilled players go unless there’s a serious concern with character.

I haven’t used it in forever, but I couldn’t resist, considering Zeous’ penchant for calling others on their critical thinking skills.

I know, I’m sorry, my wording/tone is clear as mud. Jumping back and forth between this thread and the earlier one doesn’t help.

Didn’t SLC get in some hot water for busing them to other states a few years back?

Yeah, but Zeous is smart enough to have figured that out once the google results populated (there’s even one for NIMBYISM just below the first result).

This is specifically citing people living in shelters. This study (HUD) is not the end-all-be-all, and can almost be called a survey, but I’ve seen many studies where the number is close to the 46% stated here. Also, I didn’t say that most have mental illness. Close, but your claim makes…[Read more]
