Are you serious? That was the dumbest shit I have ever seen. Did they learn nothing from Sitake last year?

He’s a kid. I don’t hate him. I don’t like his QB play. But again, he’s a kid. I’m grateful that he puts a Utah jersey on each week and does his best.

It really stings to hear him talk about our red zone offense… all those trips in there and so few points to show for it. He did give Matt Gay some props, however.

You can lump me in with the nay-sayers. I had this game as a loss before the season started. I thought we would beat Stanford. The team just hasn’t given me much to be excited/optimistic about ever since losing Huntley.

Ah, I somehow missed that Handley was Chase’s backup. I didn’t think he had any previous experience and was just thrown into the role. Naive on my part.

The MUSS was loud all night long and stayed deep into the 4th quarter, unlike a lot of the other fans.

I didn’t think the game atmosphere was poor to begin with. RES started out rocking, the first third down Stanford had the entire stadium was standing and yelling. I even sit in a pretty mellow part of the stadium (W10, row 60) and people were into it.

My prediction is that the game isn’t ever close. USC wins by at least 20. Even if Huntley starts, Utah loses by 10.

I mean, did we look like a ranked team last night? No. No we did not. 

Unfortunately, I predict that next week is an embarrassment on national television in prime time, similar to when we went into the coliseum being over ranked at #3 a few years ago. USC by 20. 

Perhaps my criticism of DC2 was a bit overblown. I was mostly thinking of the false start penalty and the fumble that was barely recovered by someone else. He did lead the team in receptions and yardage as usual. My bad on that. 

And to clarify, I think Troy deserves every bit of criticism he got today. Not two days ago I was predicting that he and Carrington would have a good night tonight. Turns out neither one performed tonight. It is what it is. Based on tonight alone, I don’t think that Williams deserves to see the field again. 

No offense, but you trashed TW2 all summer long. Just saying. 

Tackling is hard, apparently. 

He is straight up bad. Two weeks of prep and this is what he brings? Bailing on good pockets, overthrowing open receivers? Bring in Bateman.
