That’s a BYU fan impersonating a Utah fan. One of many. It’s so pathetic.

Cougarboard members were pleading for people to email President Reese to get him to vote no on Utah. The Big12 vote was unanimous. LMAO.
BYU desperately tried for 12 years to get into the Big12 and Utah got in in 6 hours. Just amazing.

EagleMountainUte replied to the topic I am really, really sad about the death of the PAC in the forum Pac-12 1 year, 9 months ago
Bad leadership, USC was irrelevant, and the absolute NEED to have 9 conference games killed it. While I enjoyed the 9 conference games it was absolutely idiotic in hindsight. SEC model is clearly the way to go because it achieved nothing perception wise.
SEC essentially controls the narrative. They play 8 conference games with 3 cupcakes and a…[Read more] -

This is simply the fact. Utah proved its value at the P5 level. I mean it is lemon in TDS eyes but Utah already been there done that.

This is good news, Ute fans. We’ve had our disputes with Jason over the years, but he’s been a pretty solid source during this round of realignment.
Big12 here we come!!!!!!!!

While it’s always good to have solid leadership at every level during times like this, remember that Harlan is not a decision maker here. Realignment decisions are made by the school president and his board.
Is Harlan talking to him? Of course, but he is an advisor only.

I’d like that tweet a whole lot better if it said “Utah has applied for Big12 membership”. Lol.

Until Utah is firmly in the Big12 with pro rata shares, there is reason to be concerned. Period.

UteFanatic replied to the topic Pac12 is dead. As expected. in the forum Pac-12 1 year, 9 months ago
Pro rata is only for the ESPN share. Fox didn’t have the pro rata clause. Earlier reports by Thamel indicated the league would have to “stretch and work with media partners” to make additions to 16 work, but that it would be achievable.
Why would they offer that now? Fox has no incentive to offer pro rata because they know the teams will come…[Read more]

Because they should have left immediately after CU did. It was so painfully obvious at that point what the end result was going to be.
If the Big12 invites us, they will probably offer a reduced share of Big12 media money because we are desperate now.
The school just screwed themselves.

Moving to the Big12 has been the clear choice ever since CU bolted. Let’s just hope it’s not too late. Utah’s inaction in all this has been awful. If they are relegated to the MountainPac conference, then it will be entirely their fault for not being proactive.
Not happy with how my alma mater has handled this.

Over the last week McMurphy, Thamel, and Forde have all reported that the Utah, Arizona, and ASU are priority targets for the Big12. These guys are legit. If they are all reporting this, then it’s true.
Thamel reported that Utah, ASU, and Arizona have formed an alliance of sorts. Either they all stay in the Pac12, or all move to to…[Read more]

UteFanatic started the topic There are some rumblings that UW and UO have started talking with the Big12 in the forum Football 1 year, 9 months ago
Not trying to be a doomsday bringer, but if UW and UO go to the Big12, there is a very real possibility that Utah will be left behind in a very watered down Pac12.
This is honestly getting a bit scary. This is not the time for hubris for Utah. This is becoming an emergency situation.
