Yup, same goes for Jedd Fisch. No way Fisch is at UofA after next season. He’s a Florida grad and would be a possible target hire at UF if/when Napier gets canned, which is looking very likely the way UF has been trending.

Looking forward to seeing Rising play his final season at Utah. Finding and developing a top level QB is not easy especially since very few want to put their time in. Agree. Crucial 4-5 years in the B12 for Utah. Utah likely going through a head coaching change in the next 1-2 years. Utes need to make the 12 team play-off next season and 2-3 times over the next four years. Fan support for college football in the next few years is something that could be an interesting factor considering everything that’s going on.

Utah must effectively throw the ball when they have to beyond a balanced attack. Utah needs an outside WR threat Rising of course, if healthy changes the dynamic.

The OSU rumor is interesting. OSU has the NCAA leading rusher in Ollie Gordon. Sounds like Gordon has not committed to coming back to OSU yet. Happy for NJ. Great town, elite academic school. Greta move for NJ especially if he’s getting a scholarship and some NIL/pay to play. Fresh start considering the QB drama that went down at Utah with Rising’s mysterious injury status. New OC Tim Beck has a solid background of developing QBs, which he’s going to need. NJ fits Becks offensive.

Coaching from the couch, Bills and Laumea were projected pre-season P12 1st team this year. Probably good for Bills to go now. Like Laumea, he’s done enough to show his NFL value. Agree, no way Utah is currently a top 25 team. Barely squeaking by CU against QB2 at home did not help. Excluding the injuries in key position groups, Utah has several issues to fix during the off season that surely to be discussed at length during the off season.

Tough loss. Shows where the program is now in terms of talent and depth. The DB room is going to be crazy good next season. Coach Shah and Scalley can’t get enough credit. Shah should be the next DC when KW moves into his consulting role at Utah. Go Utes!
