I think BGU is being a smart ass. Even though I like Whit, I for some reason like BGU too. I’m very conflicted.

I’ve had the exact same experience, both in the US and abroad. Mormonism is met with mostly negativity in my experience, and mention of SLC always conjures up mormonism. (Even though SLC is really no longer very Mormon lol).I’d be willing to bet the culture is a bigger factor than the snow.

I agree with you that slc should be easier to recruit to than Pullman and a few other places in the pac 12, but certainly slc is probably still toward the bottom as far as destinations in the pac 12.

I think utah matches up better with UW than with wazzu, but yes, it could get ugly. 🙈

The DC (Alex Grinch) will likely end up as an HC at a G5 school somewhere.  He is nominated for the Broyles Award (best assistant coach).  He is a miracle worker in Pullman.

Agreed. I was responding to sweetness to encourage him/her. I think this team has a good shot. 

The transitive property never works in these situations. By that logic we had no business losing to Oregon who lost handily to ucla who we creamed. That said, this will be a tough test but I feel good about it. I painted my toenails turquoise, Utah didn’t shave, and Tony is going to the tailgate the guardsman way. 

Uw is good but not as good as they were last year. It’s better they lose to Stanford than get embarrassed again by Bama later.

I agree with much of this, but I don’t actually think it was Whit that needed the middle finger but rather the panic-stricken fans after the Oregon game. I do like to think Whit is wise enough to understand this offense couldn’t be installed seamlessly in a single season, and he was ready to take the lumps this season for a payoff next year.

According to Vegas, Carrington is ”probable” for the game. So I’m thinking we’ll see him, even if as just a decoy.

Of those options I like Utah State too. At least we could confirm supremacy in the state. Although I don’t really have anything against the Aggies, so I’d hate to see them lose as badly as they would to Utah.
