I’m not sure what the point of your post is. It is only somewhat related to my post.

I didn’t claim there was a drop-off, never claimed our HS RB recruiting was ever good.

My point was that we haven’t had a successful HS RB recruit since we recruited Ty Jordan.

Never said that was my standard. I said that all of our HS recruits since then have either underperformed or not had a chance yet.

Thomas was a transfer, and he very nearly destroyed our team last year.

Bernard was recruited the same year as Ty I believe, so the point still stands.

I guess I don’t have to worry about changing my username then. Darn, I was looking forward to being proven wrong and having another weapon on offense.

Johnson isn’t ever going to be a starting QB for us again unless someone gets hurt. Unless he works on his throwing BIG TIME, he simply doesn’t have the skills required to be a QB.

Hunter was gassed the entire second half. The plays the WR made were nice, but Hunter was absolutely exhausted. WR was playing against a dummy basically.

I would say the combination of Tuttle and Darren Jones. They were both 4 star recruits. Turns out, both of them benefited massively from playing with Chris Olave.

We all know what happened with Tuttle, but Jones never even made it to the UofU because of grades, went to Snow, and never made it there either.

Brekkot was a super frustrating situation. All he had to do was work on his shot and put on weight, and it was obvious that he wasn’t trying at all. So bizarre.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA… He’s getting paid that much money to be that bad? That is the funniest thing I’ve heard in a loooong time. It’s always fun when the Broncos, 9ers, or raiders struggle.
