Yeah… not scared of Cal with Modster. He is bad. Their defense is spunky but we will beat them.

I don’t know how much of Boggy you guys have seen, but you are going to be VERY happy with him. You could conceivably have 4 guys averaging around 20 points per game on this team.

Of course it is a awesome win. I’m not bringing this up to downplay what the Utes accomplished. I bring it up because I wonder how much the offensive execution (which was through the roof against Wazzu) will/won’t drop off when we play a team with a quality defense.

I get that Huntley was the only one to show up at USC. My concern is that he’ll be the only one to show up against other decent defensive teams as well. Huntley is pretty good when the offensive line is pretty bad. Huntley is very good when the offensive line is pretty good. I want to see very good Huntley.

I guess my concern is that the offensive line will go right back to sucking the big one when we play a team that actually has a defense. I’m not worried that we didn’t put up 60+ on Wazzu, I think that was largely because we just wanted to keep the ball out of the hands of their offense, which was a brilliant game plan. Am I the only one that is not a fan of Leach’s act? I am constantly hearing comments about how he is a national treasure, or about how funny he is. I just don’t think he’s that funny.

AZ St. (with the exception of Washington) is the game I want to win most every year. I hated Todd Graham, and I can’t stand their current coach either. I Know they always give us fits, I just feel like we’ll be the better team this time around (assuming we show up for the game).

Well yeah… you don’t have to tell me that, but we still have a bit of a target on our backs. As of last week WSU absolutely could have been looking ahead to us.

I don’t flip out. I’m not one of those guys… but I can’t just let it go. It stays on my mind for at least the rest of the day.

agreed. I won’t be watching any football if I’m not watching Utah football. If they can turn it around and consistently play clean football (see: not totally failing to do the simplest of things in football like batting a jump ball down once every 4 tries at least, if not then at least tackling the guy that catches the ball you should have batted…[Read more]

I totally understand. It’s not normal, or maybe it is, I don’t know. I’m not saying I won’t watch if they don’t win, but if it isn’t a quality game, I’m not wasting my time. Last week’s game was anything but quality. It was infuriating.

I’m not claiming he won’t get better, but he was a massive disappointment at times last year as well. We lost at least two games last year because of his strange lapses in athletic ability.
