I’ve been to two games at the LA Coliseum. One was Rams vs . Bill’s and the other Utes vs condoms. At the NFL there was a lot drinking. There were also fights, drunk fans spilling beer on and over all it was not a pleasant experience. At the college game there wasn’t any alcohol and everyone was civil, and it was much better place for my young kids.

Which is why Tennessee would be a better game. Utah would get more respect and most likely win.

trading BYU for Tennessee makes the OOC harder by default.

I heard he might not graduate on time to enroll for fall semester. I don’t know the transfer rules all that well so he may very well be eligible.

I agree our receivers aren’t at the same level as good passing teams. I think it’s changing however, although not as quickly as we would like.

Nice. L.B depth was a huge concern but with this addition and if Juarez is eligible I’m hoping it will shake out ok.

A two loss team can win the conference this year. I think that’s why it’s championship or bust, along with the fact that the Utes were one freak pick 6 away from going to OT in the CCG last year and we all know if it went to OT and the game came down to field goals, Utah wins that game.
Solomon Enis can be a game breaker. He’ll be better this…[Read more]

Gotta go with the PAC 12 championship. I normally don’t put expectations that high but with the returning talent, that’s where I’m at this year. Hope I’m not disappointed.

I’d be surprised to see Wilson come out of the first 5 games healthy. He’s not very big, runs a lot and his O line isn’t the greatest.

If they really wanted him they would have offered a scholarship, not let him take one from BYU.

Offering a kid a spot as walk on when other schools are offering scholarships, isn’t exactly recruiting him.

Utah didn’t recruit Wilson. A lot guys on recruiting websites show offers but they’re not all serious offers. That’s why he asked the question about how many were serious recruits. Wilson is an example of one that Utah wasn’t recruiting. Utah could have had Wilson if they wanted him, they took Tuttle instead, whichbat the time, was the right choice.

It hasn’t been my experience that they crawl back in their caves for 365 days. Maybe one day at the most. Then they all come out with their excuses, “we beat ourselves”, “the refs hate Mormons” etc. Reasonable people would go back into their caves for a little while but we are talking about BYU fans.

True. But if Urban does end up going there next year he will be a part of something special.

Central Coast Ute replied to the topic Huntley could be the number one QB in the state of Utah, or in the forum Football 6 years ago
I agree that Huntley should be the best of the three and I think he’ll have the best season if he stays healthy. I won’t be surprised is Love has better passing stats however, due to an easier schedule.

Regarding Oregon and this is just my take; I do agree that the media is probably a little biased here, but as you said they have Herbert coming back, plus a very good, experienced offensive line. Their left tackle, who was injured when Utah played them, might be the best in the country. I predict he’ll be a top 10 pick when he goes to the NFL.

Central Coast Ute replied to the topic Is Mique Juarez coming to Utah? in the forum Football 6 years ago
I thought he was up in the air about coming back to UCLA this year. The tweet sounds weird. I wouldn’t think he wo8ld be graduating this year but maybe next.
He’s a talented kid, I’m just not sure if his head is right.
