Personally, I’m more worried about ASU winning out than I am Utah losing this weekend.

Selfishly, as a fan I’d love for him to stay for his senior year. What’s best for him though, which us more important, is probably to go pro after this year. Running backs don’t have a long shelf life and if I’m not mistaken PFF has graded him pretty highly this year. If he were asking my advice, which I know he’s not, I’d say go pro and make some money.

He was the starter prior to Gay so that should tell you something. I dont think the coaches feel they need to run out and find a new kicker.

That’s part of it. Most P5 colleges won’t come after a guy with only three years in major college football as an OC. An FCS school or G5 might though.

Utah has nothing to gain and everything to lose by playing BYU. it’s their super bowl so they’re coming in to win. Risking injury and a loss is not worth playing them the last game of the year.
