They’ll never run Holmoe out of town – he knows exactly what to do to earn just enough goodwill with that fanbase. All it takes is getting articles written about the glory days, 1984 helmet stickers, Lavell Edwards uniform patches, etc. to keep that job. And Holmoe is masterful at that.

It wasn’t Utah fans that got him suspended – only Twitter can do that. Don’t violate their terms of service and it won’t matter how many people complain.

I think the big-picture answer is the fans. To go more granular than that, I think it may depend on whether you’re LDS or not, and your views on the LDS Church. I can’t answer for non-LDS people, but I think I know why so many LDS people don’t like them.

99% of NFL players have CTE. I bet you dollars to donuts that eventually someone will show that the prevalence is almost that high among college football players, and probably among high school football players as well.
