I’m being a little over the top. I do find it funny that football scheduling arrangements go so far out. So many things will change between now and then. By then it might be flag football because we’ll know more about CTE and tackling will be illegal…I don’t know.

Just think: The kids who will play in that game are 6 years old right now.

Not to be even more of a Debbie Downer person, but the game in SLC isn’t until 2033. That’s 12 years from now. Most of us will be dead before that game happens.

If Karate Kid was a part of your life growing up, give Cobra Kai a try. It’s a good mix of nostalgia and new characters, rehashing of old plot material and introduction of new plot material, drama and comedy.

I want parity too…until I don’t. Utah is closer to the top of college football than the bottom. Call me selfish, but maybe parity isn’t the best thing for my particular rooting interest.

I hope you’re right. Utah’s vax numbers are starting to plateau, which we all knew would happen, but most experts figured we’d be at higher numbers before the plateau began.

If I had to guess what happens in the fall based on where we are now, I would say 50-75% capacity, masks required.

It’s always mostly empty in the Coliseum. Shouldn’t be any different than any other year.

Why not? What’s wrong with making kids stick to the situation they committed to?

This is a bad idea. Making it a blanket “1 transfer per person” is too blunt of a tool to dissect every S-A’s situation.

The rule should be that when a coach leaves, all players on that team should be allowed a free, immediate transfer. Outside of that, no transfers should be allowed.

At this point, my expectations will be met if we’re able to field a team.

I have to echo Hal Evans above: Are we mentally prepared for if this goes worse than it did with Larry?

I’m assuming he’ll be back coaching UA once he’s eligible for a work release program.
