I believe this. I said back in spring that Huntley looks like a Troy Taylor QB. He can do everything Taylor wants him to do.
Also, Kyle has been dreaming of a running QB for years now.
Third, Kyle said that Troy barely beat out Huntley for the team captain spot.
Next, our schedule is too hard this year. We are a 7-8 win team based off…[Read more]

I don’t know how I feel about this.
I like the idea of him getting more time this year to prepare for next year, for specific packages, red zone plays, certain situations. But what happens if he struggles and Troy needs to be put in the game? Then how is Troy going to handle it? Plus doesn’t Huntley need to put on weight?

I agree…I could see them both playing half of game one if it’s that close and going from there

If Sitake is wildly successful, he ain’t staying in Provostan.
I could see one of the Arizona schools trying to poach him.And yes, definitely, if the shoe were on the other foot Sitake wouldn’t hesitate to knife us.

(party, weed, girls – denied it)
I think this is what the dictionary says when you look up ”college”.
I don’t like the idea of him going to UW. That hurts us, kind of like if Carrington went to UA instead.
I hope the rumor of him wanting to come to the U is true. I am with iron, screw tds, burn all bridges! -

Here’s what I’ve learned…combination of multiple conversations so who knows how accurate. Most of it makes sense though.
Bernard reached out to Ena immediately upon being told he was out for the year.
Washington – Chris Peterson has reached out somehow to Bernard
He wanted to go to Utah after his mission but the Sitake-Poly connection was…[Read more] -

I wonder if it’s a situation where Kalani said he could play this fall all summer long and now he can’t play and his family doesn’t know why when Kalani made promises.
Kalani was getting in trouble at Utah for doing that. Over promising recruits and then not backing those promises up when they came due.

I like it!
In all seriousness, if this kid wants to play in the pros this is the best decision for him. The idea of a 25 year old junior sitting out a year for an infraction likely only unforgivable at BYU is insane. He needs to gtfo for his own career’s sake while there’s still time.

Preach!
I do agree the part about his parents not knowing is fishy, but then again maybe the BYU people aren’t allowed to say what it is in front of them? I don’t know. if it were something criminal, the public record would have been discovered by now. It’s probably just something like sexy time or legal drinking (he’s 25 ffs).

Jay Drew quoting his older brother in tonight’s SLTrib article. Interesting to see what Sitake does after stating that Utah St should let the kid from East (don’t know his name) transfer to BYU.
Bernard wanted to transfer to Utah after his mission but stayed to play for Sitake. -

This endangerment argument is the biggest crock of shit they’ve come up with yet, and that’s saying something because they’ve served up many piles of crap arguments in the past.
When I see exactly zero minivans/sedans with big ugly Y stickers driving around the valley distracted by their cell phones, then maybe I’ll reconsider their sob story.…[Read more]

They (say they) think it sends the wrong message to society (or something) that Utah signed him almost immediately after his removal from Oregon. So they think he didn’t sit in time out long enough, got off the hook because he’s talented and Utah had an immediate need, and that all reflects badly on Utah football’s values.
To that I say, 1- fuck…[Read more]

This is a totally valid point. But those donors along with the school need to decide how much they value the football program. It’s not just about the players that have trouble living the honor code, but also the parts of it that look like bias to those considering their fit in a p5 conference. I just can’t honestly see how the program survives.
