You only just appeared this week to ask for Whittingham’s head without positing any sort of alternative or intelligent argument. I repeat. FOH.

I remember when our D Line was good. I get it that sacks aren’t everything. I’d much rather have pressure forcing bad throws for picks. But we’re not even getting pressure. 

I’m not ruling out some sort of trebuchet-like solution.

As much as I want to see Huntley back out on the field as early as possible, I also don’t want the coaches to repeat the mistakes of the past (Jordan Wynn) and bring him back too early and have him get hurt again.

Lowering the boom on Cameron Smith was a cathartic experience indeed. I had flashbacks when Smith picked Troy in the red zone. 

Oof. Girlfriend went to FSU. That would make for an interesting game. Beating Roscoe again would also be acceptable.

Guess I’m wrong. At least I learned something. I just thought Troy with 4+ chances beats Troy with 1. 

I also had this as a loss. But I had Stanford as a win. So what do I know. 

Hi. I’m the one who downvoted. I should explain. I appreciate the info about DC9. I was downvoting the logic of putting him in as a decoy, if he was really hurt. Throw the flak my way. Lady always has good posts. I suppose I’m just extra salty about tonight’s loss, if you can’t tell from my other posts. 

So you bet on the guy who has continually folded under pressure? Rather than tie it up?

Carrington was open, yes. And guess what? Williams didn’t see him. The play was good, but why trust TW2? Take the points and at least have multiple tries in OT vs. one try on a 2pt. 

Too bad it likely won’t matter without the PAC12 south to play for. 

I agree. I really don’t think officiating made an impact on this game. The delay of game looked bad, but it’s because we substituted late and rules dictate that if the offense subs then the offense must allow the defense to substitute. We did it late and it caused a delay. 

Signing in as someone who is upset at tonight’s outcome. I think Whittingham is a great coach, and I am grateful that he is at the U. But that was, in my opinion, a terrible call to go for two. I’m not calling for his job, I still want him to be our coach, I am simply saying that it was a really bad call that will likely cost us the division. 

The downvotes are real. Go ahead and disagree. But every part of football logic says that you take the extra point. 

That was unforgivable. Whittingham just cost us the PAC12 south.
