Was looking at the rules and supposedly as long as you have sent an email, text, phone, call, letter by owl, etc., ;anything with a time stamp that says “I intend to enter the portal” before the deadline then you can file the paperwork at a later date.

Already booked my hotel, rental car and flights for this trip. I’m excited for the game. I definitely feel as if it could be a trap game. Hopefully we already have the conference game rep wrapped up by then.

Yeah this is no bueno. Utah is going to be the laughing stock in the BIG12 in Basketball. Sucks to see how far it has fallen. I absolutely hate NIL and the lack of control there is. I’m all for players getting paid but there has to be a cap on either the player or the team “salary cap”

What a shitty day for Utah basketball

The moment I saw the rule for instant eligibility be made I had a strong feeling this was possible. Any sort of momentum we had going into next year is all but shot. I miss the good olde days of Runnin Utes basketball.

I was at the Crimson Collective event before the spring game and asked him how he was healing. He didn’t have any boot on or knee brace when walking around. He also said that he was good to go and would be back in the Fall. Obviously he could just be saying that but visibly he had no injuries. He was sitting and standing to take pictures with fans…[Read more]

I was Caleb’s manager at Lowes for about a month. Dude only stuck around for 3 weeks back then as well.
However he does have talent and BIG12 experience, I think he’d be worth a look.
Andy replied to the topic Mikey Matthews transfer reason in the forum Football 3 weeks, 2 days ago
I think the primary reason he came was because he saw the passing offense from the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Last year was a total fluke in the system. It happens when you have a 3rd and 4th string QB. Totally bummed that he decided to move on, he filled that Covey role nicely and I think he would have had a big year this year. Oh well. I’m going to…[Read more]

I also feel that with the world of NIL now and how much of a pain it is for coaches I can’t imagine some of these “old” coaches sticking around much longer. It has to be exhausting for all

My wife and I work in SLC and live in Saratoga Springs. The weeknight games are so hard for us to make because we have two dogs as well that need to be let out. So depending on schedules of our work on those days sometimes we can make them sometimes we can’t. I either always sell or give away my tickets to ensure someone will go. Sold my pair last…[Read more]

The killer is that every off-season we hear “this is the best o-line we’ve ever had” and at least for the first 6 games it’s just a constant cluster. The Oline definitely scares me a bit this next season.
Andy replied to the topic Ja'Quinden 👋👋 in the forum Football 4 months, 1 week ago
I hate this. While He was injured most of the year and even in the bowl game he was absolutely the best offensive player we had this year. It kills me that he is leaving this team, not what Ty and Aaron would have wanted in my opinion. I’m really not liking the direction that college athletics is going with the wild wild west of transfers and NIL.…[Read more]

I’ll be there with my Wife and Sister-in-law. section 332, row one. Come say hi! We went in 2019(?) and it was a blast!
The link light rail is super easy to use and is only $3 each way. The station is right there at the stadium and they have a ton of stops throughout downtown.
Also on twitter there is a Ute Tailgate being hosted by @PNWUTE

I still want to know what Whitt was yelling at the officials at the end there.
Andy replied to the topic Is anyone going to Washington game? in the forum Football 6 months, 3 weeks ago
Yes i’m going and went back in 2019. The away section I believe is 333 and 332. I have several tickets I bought for this year on first row of 332. I may have two available depending on how many you need.

I totally get what you are saying. I would argue though that the players would probably be more pumped up coming out to a loud and raucous crowd. They’ve already mentally prepared themselves by their headphones during warmups.
Andy replied to the topic Football Walk up entrance music in the forum Football 11 months, 3 weeks ago
Haven’t listened to Avenged Sevenfold in quite some time, but just listened to the link you posted. I could totally get down for that.
The music that currently plays while the team walks out doesn’t get the crowd clapping or anything. Everyone seems pretty quiet until the team walks out onto the field. I just would love to see the energy from a…[Read more]

Super random I know, but I’m curious what everyone’s preferred choice of song is for when the team leaves the locker room to walk out to the field?
I love the Joker and the thief once they get to the field, but the music leading up to that leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion.
I love the “Enter Sandman” for the VT Hokies, would love to see…[Read more]
Andy replied to the topic Ludwig staying. $2.8M buyout was too much in the forum Football 1 year, 2 months ago
For a school that paid Charlie Weiss 19 million to get lost it is shocking that they wouldn’t be willing to pay 2.8 million for Ludwig. I believe it’s just a PR move to save face and instead Ludwig told them no thank you
