Bill Riley told him that BYU was playing in the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday.  Cam’s response, “That’s amazing!!!”  Then he started to laugh.

CB is reporting that Raider Damuni is flipping on BYU and coming to Utah.  He was in the 2021 class from Timpview.  So, I guess he is a returned missionary.  He had a 247 rating of 90.

I see we now have an overall recruiting ranking of 21 when considering high school kids and portal kids.
I really want to get Holker.  He is a tight end that could immediately be a difference-maker at Utah.  
It would be nice if Blocker flipped back to Utah too.

He is fast, skilled, and intelligent.  He is not only a very good CB, but he is also a great return guy.  Also, it is a get of a BYU legacy kid.  He said that he is trying to get a 10.3 100-meter time in track this year.

Out of curiosity – I was looking to see what flights were going for right now.  All direct flights to LAX and Burbank from December 30th to January 3rd were sold out.
Looks like Utah is going to have another great showing at the Rose Bowl.

It started last Thursday when we beat 4th-ranked Arizona.  Then we beat 4th-ranked USC in the PAC12 championship.  We got an official invite to the Rose Bowl.  We also beat WSU in basketball.  On top of that – it has been a terrific week in recruiting.

Thanks to the players and coaches for making this December a wonderful month.  On December 2nd, the team left us in a positive mood with the stomping of the Trojans.  We have a month to enjoy it while we wait for our matchup with Penn State.

In SLC – 50% of TVs were tuned to the PAC12 championship.  In Columbus, it was 27%, and in LA 19%.
I guess the Utes are popular in Ohio. 🙂

Over 6 million viewers watched the USC/Utah game on Friday.  That is the highest rating the game has ever had.
This game was great publicity for our Utes.  I hope it pays dividends.
