Does it make the team look harder at what they need to improve?  Does it help them realize that they aren’t invincible?  Will it help us work harder in practice this week?
I do not like the way we played on defense or ST today.  But, maybe it will serve as a wake-up call.
 

Offense – B+  They scored as much as I thought they would.  Arizona has a bad rushing D and we did not run great.  Almost gave them an A-, but penalties and lackluster running kept it at B+

The PAC12 refs are terrible.
Our defense is easily fooled.
We need a new special teams coach.  Shaw needs to focus exclusively on cornerbacks.
Tavion is head and shoulders our best RB.

I knew Arizona would throw the kitchen sink at us and they have and it has worked.  I hate playing when a team has nothing to lose.

You would not think they are a 1-8 team.  Based on the stats they would appear to be a 4-5 or 5-4.  They only give up about 350 yards a game which is about the same as the Utes.  Their offense gains about 350 yards per game.  The Utes gain over 430 yards per game.

He has been negotiating an NIL deal for the entire team.  He felt that it is important that everyone on the team can benefit.  He said there should be an announcement in the next week.

See the link below.  KW makes over 5 Million a year.  Is he worth that much?  I say – yes.  If we want to be a top-25 team – we need to pay our coach a to-25 salary.

Highest paid coaches

I hope he never wins another game.  He is a crybaby and a liar.  He is an amazing athlete and a future hall-of-famer – I just don’t like him.  He seems to think that the world revolves around him.

I have rarely felt so “overconfident” about a victory as I do about this weekend.  I hope the team is taking this game as seriously as they did the Stanford game.  I doubt we will win by 45 points again this weekend, because last weekend’s first half was a near-perfect performance.

2. No injuries.  We need everyone healthy for the Oregon game.
3. Play well enough to keep our confidence and to get the backups in ASAP.
4. Iron out some of the kinks/timing in the passing game.

After Saturday night’s incident with his play – Washington decided to suspend the coach without pay.  They already fired their offensive coordinator.  Not good for us because they play ASU Saturday.  Oh well, we just need to keep winning.

We played very well Friday.  Didn’t see that coming.  Best half of football in a long time.
No season-ending injuries.
Good to get win.  One game at a time.
No difference in the way we prepare this week compared to last.  The game is won Monday through Friday on preparation.

Have the Utes as the highest-rated team in the west.  Utah is at 15th and Oregon at 22.  No other western team is in the top 25.  I am not saying I agree with it, it’s just interesting.
ESPN Rankings

My thoughts on our remaining games:
