they have linebackers running sub 4.5s. Must be nice. Crazy how big of a weapon it is when you have two guys who are impossible to guard with one guy simply running go routes and digs/outs. Either you play the dig and its over the top or you play over the top and its 10 yard outs all day long

these “this is the first bowl game the pac 12 has won in 368 days” tweets are weird. The last time bowl games were played, was a year ago. This is the 3rd bowl game the conference has played in 364 days. Its such an obvious “jump on the buzz topics” move and yet so many seem to….not notice?

really turned the corner (which im skeptical of but believe is maybe partially true). Regardless, it is extremely frustrating to spend the better part of 8 seasons in offense hell with revolving OCs just to have one leave as soon as it looked like we found one we actually want to keep

49ers just promoted Pita Taumoepenu from practice squad, where he’s been all of this 2018 season. Taumoepenu was their sixth round draft pick in 2017 — a raw speed rusher who hadn’t much played football prior to college. As expected he’s stoked about the news in the locker room

Pita Taumoepenu played last year at 245 pounds. He added 10 pounds to reach 255 before this season.

“I‘ve been getting used to making all moves at the heavier weight,” Tamoeupenu said.

He now weighs 250 pounds, which seems to be the ideal weight for edge in this 4-3 scheme.
