I don’t have any odds but my fortunes have really changed in the realm of a job change I was looking for. After the hell week I experienced at my current job leading up to the ASU game I didn’t feel good about that weekend. After this good news I received today I am saying Utah wins big and Oregon takes it to Scum Devils. Utah punches their…[Read more]

EagleMountainUte replied to the topic I'll admit it, this CU game terrifies me in the forum Football 6 years, 8 months ago
Cal?
Edit nope I didn’t look at their schedule. They are going to be good next year I think they are pretty good this season to be honest. Maybe north champs next year. -

Having an opinion and appreciating what needed to be done are not mutually exclusive.

EagleMountainUte started the topic Opinions on weather conditions for games? in the forum Football 6 years, 8 months ago
I have always felt that it favors the visiting team because crowds tend to be less than enthused during terrible weather. Opinions? I hate wind the most add rain to it and I am miserable. Snow doesn’t bother me but it sure doesn’t make me cheer louder.
40% chance of snow for Saturday. -

Found that article from the other board. Find it interesting that most likely USC and Colorado having program turnover.
You had three South teams with turnover last season. I have no clue why they didn’t fire Helton last season as well.
While Utah…[Read more] -

I can’t help but wonder IF NCAA had punished teams for obvious cheating for years maybe Larry K has better chances with Wright and Poeltl. College Basketball is just impossible for me to enjoy much anymore.

It is cool to see that national guys are paying attention to the state of the program. Everyone knew Huntley and Moss went down this week and it did not seem likely Utah would have enough offense. Getting to 32 points even though I am a bit upset with leaving two gimme touchdowns from the 2 and 1 is impressive.
Edit:I think you could add TT to…[Read more]

Jaylon has stated his #1 life goal is to play in the NFL, and he chose Utah because he thought they gave him the best chance of developing him into an NFL CB.
Let’s all enjoy him while he’s here because he’ll be gone after next season and I couldn’t be happier for him.

UteFanatic replied to the topic STILL ALIVE FOR THE ROSE BOWL! in the forum Football 6 years, 8 months ago
Don’t want to talk about it. I’m still traumatized by the 2011 Colorado loss. 😫
In all seriousness, I’m not getting my hopes up too much because Utah doesn’t control their own destiny.
The good news is ASU has back-to-back road games and will likely drop one (if not both). The bad news is Colorado could absolutely beat Utah.

EagleMountainUte started the topic Defensive numbers Barton and Hansen all over in the forum Football 6 years, 8 months ago
Hansen 13 tackles 8 solo one sack and 3.5 TFL.
Barton 11 tackles 6 solo one sack and 3 TFL. With a forced fumble.
Blackmon third on the team with tackles and 1 TFL. He did have that nice TFL late. -
UteFanatic started the topic Two blocked punts in the redzone this year. in the forum Football 6 years, 8 months ago
It’s not something that’s been talked about because Utah won both games they occurred in (USC and Oregon), but two blocked punts in one year is disappointing.

Yeah but rivalry games are weird. Sooner have ASUs hope crushed the week before.

I don’t know if it matters much for the team. But for me I just prefer knowing Colorado game outcome first.

Help me Shelley you’re our only hope.
Great win this will propel Utah through to a win next week. But it is Colorado. Excellent coaching to regroup those kids for a response and then winning drive.
