It’s so hard living in Denver, not liking the Broncos and seeing so many Utes go there. Mike Anderson, Devontae Booker, Vele, Patrick, Bolles, Beadles. And now this year with so many Utes coming here.

Not to be a contrarian, oh yes I do. I don’t see Colorado moving back to that conference. Colorado would need to be replaced. Colorado never really fit in the Pac, and honestly they couldn’t wait to bolt to the Big 12. Big hat, no cattle. Prime needs to really show out this year, not just in the first five games of the season.

Am I seeing this right? Nine conference games, PLUS Baylor as a non-conference?

What has happened? Certainly not as tough as nine Pac-12 conference games, but really nine?

I’ve been thinking this all December. I watched one half of a bowl game. The first half of the Utah game. Had a family activity planned in the second half and made the right decision.

With the portal and NLI, bowl games are meaningless. I mean much more meaningless than before.

I think the play was the perfect combination for the defense. Ball thrown high, defender has no reason to try to catch it or keep it inbounds. The receiver has to get a foot in, and had a decision to try to go up and come back down in bounds or just toe tap. Looks like he went for the toe tap.

I see things a bit differently. If I recall correctly, he was made the “starter” during week(s) he was still splitting reps with Cam up until Thursday or Friday. LOL, just thought I’d answer. Would love it if we have an Alex Smith hiding in our QB room.

One could argue Utah has been the best Pac12 football program over the past six years. Four conference championship appearances, two rose bowls and ranked in so many CFP rankings.

Who compares to that in the BigXII?

I think TCU fans really should be the barometer here. I went to the TCU-Virginia game back in the late 2000s, and had some great conversations with their fans. They expressed frustration with having been left behind when the SWC closed shop. 1. He transfers and becomes public enemy #1 to Utah fans and boosters.

2. He stays here and plays no where near where he did in 2022.

3. He hangs up his cleats and comes on as a GA, or just goes his own way.

4. He comes back, leads Utah to a Big XII championship and we are all happy.
