Also greatly enjoy your posts Krindorr, and I hope you keep on posting.

Although a U fan, I went to the Y for undergraduate school and am very familiar with the tension that comes from having ties to both schools. In defense of the cougar fans, many are ignorant blowhards who don’t understand the games their team plays. From their ignorance they…[Read more]

  • Krindor you have always been honest and respectful on this site. I for one enjoy your posts and the insights you bring for both programs.

  • Many of us are Utah fans for those very reasons Krindor. The implication that not attending/cheering for TSPP somehow made me unworthy is why I am a Ute fan. I know most TSPP fans aren’t like that, but there are enough of them that it drove me away.

Thanks all, appreciate it. Not going to lie, I’m hurting a bit right now.

That’s always felt like home and been where I primarily post, with occasional excursions here or to the Utah 247 site.

Being completely rejected and shunned there with heavy-handed religious references (from a faith I share) for the fact that I also like Utah…well I…[Read more]

  • He was a BYU guy from the get go. This was nothing more than that

  • Ugh. I just read two separate threads over there. Many posts attacking Krindorr.

By the way – a few posts over there don’t take kindly to Krindoor’s comment that generally Utah fans have made him feel more welcome. They respond that we Ute fans didn’t know krindoor is a BYU fan. We’ll, I’ll respond by saying I’ve known for several years now…[Read more]

  • While i rarely visit Cougarboard, from what I’ve seen Krindorr has some of the best posts on college football stats.

It’s rare when a fan can take such an objective look at something and report what the facts say, not what is desired that they say.

Contrary to that byu fan dentist or ophthalmologist (or whatever) from Alabama on the X platform…[Read more]

  • weren’t they also 4 points away from setting (instead of just tying) the program record for futility with 8 straight losses?

  • Thanks for the update Rick. Great information.

  • Once in a while I read cougarboard to get any additional information on portal, recruiting etc. Krindorr always has great posts backed by statistics. He posts on Ute hub occasionally and is a great addition to our site. He is a self proclaimed BYU fan but also follows the Utes as his dad is a fan.

He posted on cougarboard about tight end usage…[Read more]

  • True, but he’s not going to BYU because they’re good. IMO, he’s going there because BYU is gonna pay players to play at BYU.

In my opinion, Whitt really hurt the team the past two years by mismanaging the QB room and BYU made their best move hiring Jay Hill that turned that whole program around. I must admit, they have kind of regained the…[Read more]

  • Sorry but I find it hard to get upset over a 4 star that won’t see the field for 2 to 3 years.

All this really is are PR bragging rights for byu.

He graduates in 2026 he will go on an 18 month mission and miss the 26 and 27 seasons. Won’t play til 2028

Plus high ratings are no guarantee of success. Recruiting classes all over the country are…[Read more]

  • Easy. We were 13 points away from 9 wins. We bring our defense back. We don’t have Five foot Five 175 lb RB’s anymore. We aren’t relying on a freshman QB who can’t throw the ball.

And we were still 13 points away from 9 wins.

If our offense is average, we win 10+. If Rising played last year, we go undefeated. Yeah, yeah, yeah, if’s and butts…[Read more]

  • Feels like BYU athletics program is on a roll, and it feels like ours is struggling. Part of the peaks and valleys of college athletics.

  • LOLOLOLOLOL. Even the article listed all the “high profile” TE’s to go to BYU…and none did anything at BYU.

Good for him. Good for him.

But if he wanted to be an elite TE who gets drafted high…he went to the wrong school.

  • Afernee, I agree with you on our 025 tight ends. Andrews could be a stud, and King is a solid player.

But, I have a question for you: What makes you optimistic about 2025? I want to be optimistic, but I am very concerned about our D with graduation and the portal. Our offense should be better, but we were terrible, so that isn’t saying a lot.…[Read more]

  • I started watching the Utes in the early to mid-80’s. A couple of players mentioned who I have soft spots for would be Tommy Connor and Albert Springs. They treated little kid me very graciously.

  • 1. Graduates in 2026 and then mission. So it’ll be awhile before we actually see him.
    2. Proud is right. Couple stinker seasons and of course we will miss on some guys.
    3. I’m extremely optimistic after seeing how this offseason is going. So if we are successful like I think we will be, we’ll be just fine. Especially at TE.
    4. Hunter Andrews! 🔥

  • I attended the first hour of Saturday’s scrimmage. Many of you probably read the coverage which summarized what I saw well but did not emphasize the tight end play enough. Dampier was throwing all over the yard to the tight ends – short, intermediate and even long routes. Bentley had the catch of the day – reaching around both sides of a defensive…[Read more]
