He’s higher on the pecking order than Huntley IMO. I love Huntley, this is no slight on him at all, but simply Cam leading us to two P12 Championships and two Rose Bowls. If I were ranking my greatest all time Ute QB’s (based on resume and impact-not necessarily target), I’d probably have:

1a. Cam
1b. Alex
3. Brian
4. Snoop

I think it would be a huge difference. Maybe not as great as an offense as last year, but solid. He has command of the offense, is confident, and the team is more confident with him there.

I think you are wrong about our reason if he plays but doesn’t do well. He won’t lose most fans. We’ll understand, frustrated, yes, but we’ll still love him.

The point is Ludwig didn’t magically become a crappy coordinator. With Rising, Kuithe, and JJ we have essentially the same offense as last year and are a playoff contender.

The issue is injuries and therefore being force to play talent that isn’t ready.

Honestly, I’d run out Rose if healthy or one of our true freshman QBs. I don’t think NJ is a QB.

I’ll admit, I’m not a believer in DJU, I don’t think OSU’s pass game is going to be all that great, especially if/when we get pressure on him and hit him a few times. This game feels like it will play out a bit like the UCLA game. But being on the road makes it scarier.

Agree 100%. I’m not asking for the offense to become like Washington’s or anything, I’d just like to see a little more dynamism.

This is exactly how I feel.

This is a constant in the Whitt / Scalley defenses. The pass defense is bend don’t break and that leaves us exposed. If we can’t get pressure on the QB we’ll get torched.

Not sure how Tony has done it, but this is easily the best Ute community and no ridiculous users. I so very much appreciate it. We have some awful fans in this fan base, the longer we keep them off here, the better.

He had nothing to apologize for. It’s not his fault the coaches were stupid today and stopped throwing completely.

Absolutely I think they are and is going to hurt WR recruiting. For the life of me I can’t understand why the coaches stopped throwing the ball today. Nate didn’t look bad. It was so frustrating.
