Utah will play at the Battle for Atlantis next season. Also the Pac-12 will be playing a 20 game regular season next year. So only a 10 game preseason with two less patsies. In the past a team would play 4 teams only once in a season but now it’s only 2 next season. Larry said Utah will play at home and most likely WSU on the road.

I too would love Alex but Harlan would want this to be his defining hire of his tenure at Utah.

The only negative I can think of with Alex and it’s a small is it’s almost a decade since he’s had to do any recruiting.

Never say never but Alex wants to be an NBA Coach. There have been rumors that some Utah boosters want the other Jazz Asst Coach and former Ute Jonnie Bryant as the next Coach.

This is about 5 years of program mismanagement.

Utah has the history the facilities and the money to be a perennial top 20 program and Larry is nowhere near that.

Battin, Brenchley, and Van Komen will all be back next year.

What qualifies you to make any judgments or evaluations on any Ute player or Coach?

He needs a midrange game. If he could develop a consistent 15-20 ft jumper to go along with his ability to get to the hoop he could be a P12 POY candidate.

If he doesn’t transfer he need to spend the offseason shooting 250 jump shots a day
