He hurt his knee in fall camp and since Whit treats injuries like nuclear launch codes nothing was ever announced.

Whit will only announce injuries if they are season ending so he should be back this season sometime.

X-rays don’t show soft tissue injuries only bone. MRI is needed for ligaments and tendons.

His knee buckled inward 45 degrees. Even if it’s not a MCL/ACL tear and just a grade I or grade II sprain (which would be a small miracle) it would be 4 to 6 weeks til full recovery.

Either way he won’t play against Utah

He’s more likely gonna miss the game because his shoulder isn’t 100% then anything he did or most likely didn’t do off the field.

The plan is for him to play this season then redshirt his 2nd season and focus on his academics. Then come to Utah as a 3×3 player.

He was placed to Snow by Utah Coaches and they are monitoring his progress.

Utah needed Sherman’s skill set but not some of the other things he would have brought to the party.
