Chris Hill also ruined the MBB program though. Overall what the positives outweigh the bad for sure, but IMO the bad things that he did knock him down a rung or two.

Along with (allegedly) ignoring reports of abuse by one of his coaches, Chris Hill is responsible for running MBB into the ground.

Think we sign a guy maybe last year that was a 4* on at least one site. I believe his name is Tao Johnson… but he is playing defense now.

Kuzma is a great representative of the UofU. He does not get talked about enough in Utah. Poeltl and Delon have also done great in the NBA.

oh man… forgot about that one. the ’19 championship game was BRUTAL. That was the last time I completely flipped out over a football game. Darn near pulled my hair out.

My experience in life has taught me that much of the time, if people are acting like jerks toward you it’s because you’ve done something to provoke it.
Is that always true? No, there are some people who are just jerks. However, most of the time, if you are respectful, people will not treat you unkindly.
At sporting events, especially at when I…[Read more]

Mine is probably the infamous 2007 UNLV game. Brian Johnson and Kyle were idols of mine at the time and I was so glad to see both of them get their chance to really shine… Then it all came crashing down in one nightmarish game… Then I went on my mission and missed the sugar bowl.
Seriously, that game was the ultimate WTF moment for me. Such a…[Read more]

Kid already has great size for college. Gotta think he could easily put on 25 pounds and be a great TE.
I love recruits like this because you just know the coaches see a ton of untapped potential there otherwise they wouldn’t be offering.

Oddly enough… The Kaneshiro doink game is my first favorite Utah game, because that is the game where I knew I was a Utah fan, and my first game at RES (even though I was a TSPP fan at the time as a little kid, I felt myself wanting the Utes to win, and I haven’t looked back since).
– I also really enjoyed the Cal game in SLC when Goff was…[Read more]

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic when was the last time we got new unis? in the forum Football 2 years ago
We have so many combos these days that it’s hard to say what our base unis even are.
But to answer your question I think the ones before these had the mountain sleeves, and IIRC it’s been around 2 years since we changed. I could totally be wrong about all of this though.

Objective only and not negative? I’m not sure what you mean. I didn’t claim my comment was objective. Objectivity hasn’t even been brought up (not by me anyway), and if it were I would say that objectivity isn’t a realistic expectation of a fan. I just said that I didn’t see my comment as being negative, and suggested that there is an alternative…[Read more]

Love that movie… but I disagree regarding my attitude. I don’t see my comment as negative at all. I didn’t suggest that I believed the tweet, I didn’t say anything bad about anyone or anything.
All i said is that I wouldn’t be surprised. Honestly, if you WERE surprised, I have to question your judgment. Football players get hurt all the…[Read more]

If The Oklahoma transfer kid pans out, and Pittman is healthy this team is better than last year’s team on both sides of the ball IMO… But only if Cam can get out of the habit of relying on one guy almost exclusively. If he spreads the ball around and hits open receivers instead of always looking to Kuithe first we will be good.
Our RB room…[Read more]

Bajema seems like a slightly better version of Lazar. They are almost the exact same size.

If Exacte doesn’t shoot better he’s going to have a hard time finding minutes. That isn’t a knock on him BTW, just looking at our roster we haven’t added anyone great, but the end of our bench looks infinitely better than it has for years now. We now have at least 11 guys that I would be comfortable playing if I were coach.
I would LOVE IT if we…[Read more]

Relax friend. Your post wasn’t bad, I just found it a tad ironic, thats all. You are one of the few posters that keep this place alive when it isn’t football season.

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic Breakout Player Prediction in the forum Football 2 years, 1 month ago
Yep, the way our offense is run, and the way Rising plays, there simply aren’t enough touches for the second wide receiver (or 3rd) to get more than 500 yards receiving in a season. I don’t think Kuithe cames back if he doesn’t believe he’s going to be option number 1 on virtually every passing down.
