Whitt has said numerous times that they will go hard after WR transfers in the summer when guys inevitably enter the portal after spring ball.

He has actual HC experience. He fixed USU. he clearly knows how to recruit and more importantly develop (something Larry didn’t do his last several years at Utah).
At worse this hire will bring a new level of energy and excitement to the program.

We’ve heard about celebrating standing out for a few years now but he hasn’t done anything in an actual game. I’ll believe he’s good when he actually plays good in an actual game.

In the second half. They are playing good defense, boxing out, not making stupid mental mistakes, and communicating well. They are actually fun to watch rn.

I admit that it seems excessive… Maybe I’ll just arrange for someone to sack you… say… 15 times or so, but only if USC is scheduled to play us following a bye week, which we of course don’t know at the moment. So maybe you’ll escape your fate just yet.

One the Scott was good at is catching the ball with very little space between him/the ball/and the defender. Wilson’s bread and butter was throwing to him while he was essentially posting up the defensive back. He caught a lot of balls that a lot of other dudes would have dropped.

1. Steve Smith: He would instantly be one of the best recruiters in the world. Also, It shouldn’t matter, but it does, so this spot should probably be filled with a POC.
2. If #1 doesn’t work out then I guess I’ll settle for Ludwig moving to OC/receivers coach, and the Utes hiring the soon to be free agent Alex Smith to be the QB coach.
