As an administrative employee of the U, let me reiterate: The benefits of being in the PAC12 go so far beyond athletics. In fact, I would say that what you see in athletics is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the benefits of PAC12 membership.

Football is all about matchups, and in spite of UCLA having a great offense at the moment, the matchup is good for Utah. UCLA would concern me if the game weren’t at home. As it is, I think Utah wins comfortably. I do think we’ll start slow (we tend to be rusty after a bye week) but eventually dominate.

I caught the first drive while the OU/SC game was at halftime. There’s a massively obvious difference between P5 and G5 football. The speed of play, the power, the overall sharpness. The USU/BYU-P game just looks so…mid-major-ey.
