His offense doesn’t translate well to the NFL where defenses are much more physical, disciplined and conditioned. He’s a tremendous college coach. I think with the athletes that UCLA is able to recruit, he’s going to make things very difficult in the South in the next 2-3 years.

Pay the kid.

Worried that if Williams starts, we look nothing like last week and get conservative again. He just doesn’t have any swagger or energy on the field. Makes one read and ducks his head, play over.

Maybe he’ll prove me wrong, I root for the kid regardless. Having him ball out on senior day would be a great storyline.

We like to think of the Holy War as a significant rivalry in college sports, but it really is small potatoes compared to Michigan/OSU, Bama/Auburn, Texas/OU, etc.

I’ve been to tailgates at UW, Oregon, U$C, OSU, Colorado, and Wazzu. I think we definitely hold our own and are better than some of the other venues. UW has probably been my favorite though, simply because we were Sailgating, which is really cool/unique and hard to top. That stadium is also gorgeous since they renovated it.

This is a phenomenal post. Thank you Sugaree! I didn’t expect that much salt from Ducks fans for taking Carrington. One of my close friends is a Duck and his attitude was more “Carrington tends to choke in big moments and you’d better hope he keeps his nose clean.”

I’m really excited to see how he and Fotu develop. Hopefully Tupai lives up to expectations as well.
