We will not be able to “pound the rock” unless we can pass. We cannot allow defenses to stack the box against us.

If 80% means Cam cannot run the ball – I predict 7-5, maybe 8-4. Cam needs to be able to run to make him an effective QB. If Cam can run effectively – there isn’t a game we cannot win, but I still do not expect us to go undefeated. We need an offense and we have not had one in games one and two.

Whitt says this is a much better time to play than 8:00 PM.

I like the time, but I don’t have young kids playing sports. I will be missing some grandkid’s games, but they will forgive me.

I would love to get Cam Rising in for 10-15 plays to get the rust off. Then Have Johnson take it from there and get confidence in his passing.

I have now watched every team play. Yes, OSU and the Utes are the top defensive teams. But, without an offense, we aren’t winning this conference. If Cam comes back – we will be a much better team (assuming we see the complete Cam Rising). However, without Kutihe – I don’t think Cam can get it done. That’s just one guy’s opinion.

I highly doubt we will go undefeated in conference play and I think the same can be said for every team including USC. UW has a better D than USC and has a very good passing game. UW, however, does not appear to have a running game. CU will surprise a lot of teams and UCLA is much better than expected.

As RG3 said, no PI was called, so there was no PI.

There were some bad calls on both sides IMO. The holding calls on us all happened on big plays and none of them were egregious IMO.

I want it to be Johnson going forward, but none of us have been in practice and know these guys.

I agree!!! Nate needs to be QB3 going forward. I hope Cam can get some reps next week. But, once we get a lead, put in Nate for the rest of the game.

I am extremely disappointed that we had an entire off-season to develop a QB and we could not do it. Some say Rose would have been the guy, but OnlyU reported that he may not have been. In any event we do not have any offense right now.
