According to this article, Utah has the most returning production of any team in the PAC12 (tied with USC). We are ranked 5th on offense and 45th on defense. I think our defense will be fine with some incoming talents like Richie, Fano, etc.

Returning Players

I was shocked. We have the former PAC12 first-team QB as our starter. I knew we wouldn’t be in the top three because of the transfers – Williams, Penix, and Nix. But, 8th – really? I certainly hope we are better than that. Also, no mention of Johnson in the article. He goes into great detail on the backups of other teams.

Coach Prime is putting an interesting staff together. He has hired the former FSU and Vikings head coaches. What do you think? Is this a good thing for Colorado? Or are there too many egos on the sideline?

I read yesterday that Utah has signed 16 of the top 1000 high school football players. By comparison, our friends down south have signed 4. Also, according to Rivals, Utah had a better recruiting class than any team in the “new” Big12. The 2023 recruiting class is amazing. It’s a great time to be a Utah football fan.

QB – (Net +) I hope we have a healthy Rising and I “hope” that Johnson is our backup and that we have a package where he plays 4-5 plays a game.

I don’t know a lot about knee injuries so I have a question. Would he be doing PT if he was going to have ACL surgery? Or did he already have surgery and I had not heard?

The Rose Bowl didn’t turn out the way any of us wanted. Oh well. We made it to the Rose Bowl for the second consecutive year. I went out and bought a Rose Bowl shirt today in fact. I am proud we were there and I will wear my shirt proudly.
