I’m not defending calling the TO. I’m defending his general decision making which was a pretty badass game plan. We can be mad about that one call, in the moment or later, but it was not the thing that lost the game. Giving up 10 points in 2 minutes lost the game. 

Also, you are distilling the whole game down to one call. 

The point of my post about Blackmon is that you can’t blame the game on the time out call. There were a number of plays that could have swung the game.

Ok, this explanation from the presser makes more sense than the immediate postgame interview. Bad decision obviously, but can’t fault him for the intention to be aggressive. It was a good game plan overall. Gut punch for sure. 

I totally agree with this and like you said, it is an honor. Too bad it just so happened to be when the least honorable potus in history is in office.

Um, it’s cool that the team got to visit the White House. Too bad they didn’t get to go the year before instead though…

IMO it is on Huntley. He will get it soon though, he is just still too slow making a decision now. Experience matters. Next year he’ll do better and we’ll go back to just false start penalties

I mean, UW probably wins but I can’t bring myself to pick against the Utes so I picked us by 7.

The reason I do maintain some hope is that I do think Utah matches up favorably against UW. Yes, they have a big mean D line, but our O line actually matches up better with that style than against the style of a defense like WSU’s. If Utah is to win…[Read more]

We’d need two wins in two games to go bowling and fans would be rioting.
