We’ve had some really good Vegas Bowls! 😉 It was a more minor bowl, but now is what, #3 in the PAC (NY6, Alamo, Vegas, Holiday, Sun is the pecking order?).

I do wonder how all the bowl alignments will change next year. But we also have the expanded playoff, so it’ll be a whole new system.

Agree. They were just against really great teams. No fault there (or Cam getting injured in both). The Alamo Bowl prior to that, well, it was well documented that Huntley et al. were just there to have fun and didn’t really take it too seriously and got hammered by Texas. The Holiday Bowl against NW? That’s just one of those you have a bad game.

I think I would probably try 3 runs up the middle to test their grit. If that didn’t work, next series I’d do the same to see if they were wearing down yet. If that didn’t work, next series, I’d run the 1st 2 downs, then roll out and not have any receivers to throw it out of bounds. OSU is a tough team, but I think they will press a little because they can’t afford a 2nd conference loss. I think that causes DJU to be his inaccurate version. After our D stops the run, DJU makes enough mistakes that they will be limited in scoring to <20. Now, can we score more than that? We’ll have to see.

That’s kind of cool. I would guess most majors have many of the positions, but having a punter, kicker, and returner (which a lot of times is a WR or CB) probably disqualifies most. Esp. with teams only carrying at most 2 kickers, that’s not many spots.

My issue is this: if NJ has been in the program a year, split reps with Barnes in fall camp, then got more reps going into games 2 and 3, with 50/50 for game 4 (with Cam), why is he only at 1/2 of the playbook? And like that, just like rookie year, he started the season on the practice squad (and can only be pulled up for games 3 times) and is now signed to the active roster for the season (full 2nd year minimum salary rather than weekly practice squad pay). Well, the last 2 years, Cam has hurt his knee in the Rose Bowl. 1st time, he played 14 games before injury. Last year, he came back game 4 so was good for 11 games. Agree – l-loss and there is little room for error. I’m guessing a 1-loss team and a 2-loss team (with tie-breakers) will be in the CCG. I set up a smaller TV next to my bigger one so I can watch 2 games same time. It’s been great. YouTubeTV has an option for 4 at a time, but 1) I don’t have it, 2) It makes them all 1/4 of a screen so kind of small – need Lebron’s setup (9 TVs with 1 main game on 4 and other games on the other 5).

You get 1 free transfer without sitting? But since they went FCS –> FBS, maybe they still have one more. But I Shilo went SC to JS to CU as a grad transfer, so he’s probably looking to NFL if possible. Other than NIL, Shedeur probably goes NFL. So, really, it’s just the daughter. I guess we’ll see 😉
