Its actually a pretty common thing in recruiting. If a kid receives an offer from a school like Alabama or USC they instantly rise to be a 4 star. Its almost like a self filling prophecy.

Not saying it happens all the time, but I’ve seen it happen & it makes me laugh.

Utah still needs to recruit QBs every year. Not sure why that is overly interesting.

Drumandfeather.net is my favorite Utah podcast. They only do it weekly and its about an hour long, but its actually pretty well done & features former Ute LB Chaz Walker. They’re pretty funny & Chaz provides an insight into the Ute football program that you don’t get anywhere else.

I went to the LSU vs Alabama game a few years back & it was a great time. Had really enjoyable experience taking in the gameday atmosphere and talking to Bama fans.

My question now is what is preventing other teams from doing the same thing?

I don’t think it is speed that he lacks. I think its instinct. Gianni & Norris are always in the right place at the right time. Especially Gionni, he just has a nose for making big plays. It is one of those “intangibles” that people are always talking about.

I don’t think Norris is out for the season. It just looked like he took a helmet hard to the knee. So unless he broke a bone I’ll be shocked if he misses more than a week.

It does seem odd that the #3 team wouldn’t be favored against a unranked opponent, but USC is probably more talented than Utah & at home.

Hansen was never a Quarterback.

That is such bullshit. He took significant snaps at QB all through spring & fall camp & he even has a limited amount of game time experience.

I find it highly unlikely they will decide his future until next year.
