The light may have finally switched on for Cody Barton. I was drop dead impressed with his play. 8 tackles and a sack and he barely played more than a quarter. Cody has certainly taken his lumps learning the LB position. Out of position and over pursuing. Didn’t see it at all against ASU.

Looking forward to seeing him again.

Oregon has Worshington next week. Much bigger game for Oregon. If Herbert is in fact close, I doubt we see him.

Late in the 1st quarter Worshington lost their best lineman. First-team all-Pac-12 left tackle Trey Adams. He won’t be back either, shredded knee. The replacement guy is crap. Worshington’s line depth is poor.

26 of 35 74.3%, 9.8 yards per attempts. Tate took over during their game against Colorado, so he’s only played a little more than a full game.

Arizona is going to wreck a few more teams this year.

There is a huge talent discrepancy. ASU has 25 four star players on their roster, we have 7. ASU is shoulder to shoulder with Oregon, Stanford and Worshington for talent. All of those teams are between 25 and 28 blue chips.

Since the formation of the Pac-12, go look at the other teams and count how many have had 3 consecutive winning conference records.

Now count how many have had 4, like you’ve predicted.

Now ask if he’s the right guy for the job and wash it down with a tall glass of bleach.

Ummmm …. ASU does not blitz anymore. Graham is no longer calling the defense. ASU blitzed Worshington approximately 20% of the time.
