Troy Taylor despite never coaching at the D1 level already has me way more confident that he will recognize this simple numbers game. It has been a long time coming Ute fans.

Not that I am worried about losing to TDS, it does play a factor in that game. Utah really only has a glorified scrimmage week one so it isn’t that big of a factor.
Additionally how dumb is Holmoe on his scheduling? Yes he is largely handcuffed on what he could do but Utah is a must win game and losing again will be devastating.

I think you have been listening to the radio honks more than listening to what the coaches actually say. Or possibly whatever sports writer has said. Taylor has been consistently complimentary to all of his guys. But like @Utah has said Huntley fits his offense better.

I keep hearing the difference in taking Huntley was an ability to extend plays and escapability. I love what Harding has built at Utah but to me it sounds like the Oline had a rough camp. The coaches have identified a need rather than a want.

His coach has the wrong mentality unlike Troy who feels he needs to keep grinding.
I have already said this but a senior should have left no doubt who was better in Fall Camp.

Jon Wilner was on 700 yesterday we all know he isn’t high on the Utes. But he seemed worried for Utah playing in Provo. Wasn’t it like Byu has only won 2 in the last who knows how long in Provo??
Byu is dominant in all things in their own minds.

The fact that the senior didn’t wrap it up in week one or two of Fall camp made me think the coaches were really liking Huntley. I thought well redzone packages again for Huntley?? But Williams never made it seem like his team.

Williams needed to wrap it up in Spring in hindsight.

@Utah If Troy gave Utah sixth best Utah wins the south. Consistency you can knock him on that. But where did it come from?? I feel it was the guy in the booth. When Oregon holds you to seven at home. I don’t put it on the players. Coaches hold most of the blame for the outcome of last season.
