I think what he’s saying is that the top players would spread out among more schools if there were more paths to the playoffs.

Using CBB as the model, you see top players spread out among a lot more schools because many more schools get into the tournament. College football should follow that model.

I’ve been to almost every Utah basketball home game in the last 20 years, and I have to say this is the worst officiated game I can recall seeing.

I almost never go after officiating, but this is insane.

Zero points? Wow. I wish I shared your confidence. Northwestern is ranked for a reason. They’ve won a lot of football games, and I’m pretty sure they’ve put up points in those wins.

I expect a low-scoring Utah win, but I think it will be way too close for comfort.

How much do you think we’ll be affected by our many missing players? Especially considering they’re fully healthy and don’t have anyone skipping the game? Does that narrow the perceived gap at all?

Not everything negative that happens is a sinister plot against Utah or Kyle. Sometimes people just want to do what they think is right for them.

I just saw that Army put up the most points in FBS bowl history today (70). I wonder if Michigan fans are sweating their 2019 season-opening game against Army right now? SMH…

“Not a powerhouse” is the understatement of the year. That’s the 103rd ranked defense in FBS. That defense was far worse than anything Utah faced this year, including Weber. 
I get it that some of you think Wilson is the second coming of Peyton Manning. But let’s at least be intellectually honest when making that argument. 

No. Wilson is the 4th best QB in the state. Two Utah QBs and one USU QB are better. 

Exactly. If Wilson were at Utah, he’d be a distant third on the depth chart and gearing up to transfer to a G5 program.

Utah’s got plenty of pressure. Just ask any offensive coordinator or freshman QB who’s getting booed off the field after a 3 and out.

For me it all comes down to context. Political and religious discussions are ok for me *to the extent that they impact Utah sports*.
For example, discussion of missions is ok because it impacts Utah athletes. But discussion of how many wives some LDS leader has is not ok (on this forum) because it has no bearing on Utah athletics.
